Bio
Wyatt Pettry is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Alabama. During his time at UA, he served as the section leader for the Million Dollar Band quadline and was an active member of the University’s Percussion Ensemble under Dr. Andrew Lynge. He performed with the UA Percussion ensemble at the PASIC IPEC Showcase in both 2022 and 2024, demonstrating his commitment to musical excellence at the national level. Wyatt has also performed with esteemed groups such as the Black Jacket Symphony and the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, gaining experience across diverse performance environments.
Along with his performance experience, he has also taught and arranged for high schools around the state of Alabama. His background reflects a strong foundation in both performance and education, with a focus on collaboration, leadership, and artistic growth. He now serves as the Associate Director of Bands at Helena High School in Helena, Alabama.
